History

KidLinks Foundation ("KidLinks") was formed on March 15, 2001. The founders are all associated with independent energy companies, financial institutions providing capital to the independent energy sector, financial advisors and equipment and services providers to energy companies.

The foundation applied for and received exempt status from Internal Revenue Service as an organization described in section 501 (c)(3) on June 22, 2001.
